Digeridee Drops

This is a patch I sent in as entry for the VCV Rack Community April 2024 Challenge. Being relatively new to VCV Rack, and modular synthesis in general, I decided to participate, mainly as a learning experience, but also had a lot of fun. I'll try to participate with every channel, and invite you all to do so as well. See here to get access to the VCV Rack Community.

Ambient Blues

This is a patch I sent in as entry for the VCV Rack Community May 2024 Challenge. I tried to build an ambient blues chord progression in the key of A-minor. The melodic drop sounds are supposed to be a pentatonic A-minor scale, but not sure... See here to get access to the VCV Rack Community.

Modern Times

This is a patch I sent in as entry for the VCV Rack Community June 2024 Challenge. The idea was to make a kind of rhythmic and musical patch that generates factory or machine sounds by pure synthesis. I am using my own oscillators, for the rest all free modules available in the VCV Rack library. I was hoping to use my own clock as well, but it was not yet released by VCV Rack at the moment of submission. See here to get access to the VCV Rack Community.

Sea and Shore

This is a patch I sent in as entry for the VCV Rack Community August 2024 Challenge. It is a bit of a cheesy patch, starting with a storm at sea, and an attempt to create a whale song...then it moves to jungle drums, some meldic rain drops and a humming bird fading in and out as a kind of drone. Then back to the storm and whales and with a flock of sea gulls fading in and out. I am using my own oscillators for some of the sounds, my own clock and sequencer (SpiQuencer). For the rest all free modules available in the VCV Rack library from other developers. See here to get access to the VCV Rack Community.

Orcestra

This is a patch I sent in as entry for the VCV Rack Community November 2024 Challenge. It is a percussive patch with a base. I am using my own VCO's, clock and sequencer to generate the sounds, just to see how far I got and where I ran into limitations. I just might do a better attempt shortly...
